As a sustainable designer, I think it is important to inform you, my customer about my products.
Hybrid-Styles t-shirts are made from 50% pure cotton and 50% recycled cotton. Whilst using solely recycled thread would create a fully recycled product, it compromises the strength of the material, leading to a shorter lifespan. By incorporating a 50/50 mix of recycled and new cotton, this extends the product's durability, prolongs its lifespan and slows down the frequency at which it needs to be sent back for recycling. The t-shirts are manufactured by Teemill, which is based on the Isler of Wight, a local supplier to Brighton. More detailed information can be found from my post;

The applique fabric is recycled denim, and recycled t-shirting. The fabrics are bonded to the surface of the t-shirt and then stitched. I then wash each t-shirt to make sure the applique is secure and robust. Each time the t-shirt is washed there will be some fraying of the fabric, this is a normal part of the process I use. It also adds to the character of the t-shirt.
Most t-shirts I have seen with the Mod roundel are printed, it is not often the roundel is applique, so this makes Hybrid Styles t-shirts more unique!
