Brighton Mod Weekender 2026

Aug 31
2 min read

What a privilege to have my first stall at The Volks Tavern during the Mod Weekender, hosted by New Untouchables. Thank you for all those people who stopped to have a chat and purchase from Hybrid Styles. I have never met such a friendly stylish community of people. All ages, from different walks of life. I could not help but keep popping outside to see who was wearing what and have a look at as many scooters as I could.

Below is a selection of photographs of scooters, and their owners. Thank you for those people who I asked if I could publish their images/scooters on my blog. It is very much appreciated. Some people were engaged in conversation and I was not able to chat with them. If you are one of those people and you are not happy for yourself to be on here, I will delete.

Roger and Claudia from Germany

Alan and Sue, what a privilege to speak to you both. Alan was one of the early Modernists in Brighton. We discussed where he bought his clothes from in Brighton and where they went to dance, The Starlight Club in Montpelier (I hope that is correct!).

Helen on her Vespa Primavera 125, small frame, Ferrari red model.

Lisa with two scooters, one of which won best Lambretta at last years Mod Weekender. Owner Peter Gough- LD125- Reg MVB 295 (the one on the right). The one on the left is a 1959 Lambretta. I believe it is a LI 3025? If not message me on here.

Lee in his 2-tone suit with his Lambretta TV 125 series.

Martin with his Scomadi TL125

Thank you
